Every Sunday, I really like dressing up for church, and I like making sketches of the outfits that I like. So today, my outfit was a light pink rosy sweater with chiffon tucked into a white lace and satin skirt. I wore my tan oxfords with white ankle socks. According to Joyce, I looked like one of those dolls from Pretty Little Liars or the movie Women in Black. Well here's my sketch! Hopefully I'll be able to supply one EVERY Sunday. That would be nice. Plus, I have sketches from other days to so I'll put that up in a different post. :) Enjoy!
P.S. The picture got a bit distorted when I photocopied it. Sorry. Enjoy as best as you can. Haha. :)

The Hunger Games
As we all know, the Hunger Games movie is about to show!!! Joyce and I are extremely excited!!! So in light of that, this post is going to be about the fashion of the Hunger Games. I am going to have to say that the most fashion forwards person in the Hunger Games is Effie Trinket. I have heard that she will be wearing dresses by Alexander McQueen and other designers for the movies! Crazy. Anyway, while we all wait for the movie, let us immerse ourselves in the spirit of the Hunger Games. China Glaze is currently selling a Hunger Games line: Capitol Colors, http://chinaglaze.com/products/index.php?coll=57. I personally like the color Electrify. It is truly electrifying. Now it is time for a Hunger Games inspired outfit....dun dun dun dun!!!! My inspiration is from Katniss, obviously, she says this in one of the books,"I am not pretty. I am not beautiful. I am as radiant as the sun." So for a more casual outfit that captures the essence of Katniss...
Top: flowing and red...obviously...because she was the girl on fire
Bottom: Skinny ripped jeans (She's fierce!)
Shoes: Combat boots (again...she is one fierce girl!)
So if you feel....shall I say...Katniss like, this is what I would wear. Plus some of that Capitol Colors nail polish. ;)
